Chiropractic Care for Movement, Recovery & Long-Term Wellness
Dr. Tristan Vassberg helps patients move better, recover from injury, and build lasting wellness through individualized, evidence-informed chiropractic care. With a background in biomedical science and sports biomechanics, he brings a thoughtful, compassionate approach to patients of all ages and activity levels.
Originally from the rolling hills north of Austin, Texas, Dr. Vassberg developed an early interest in human movement through sports and student athletic training. His experiences supporting the health of teammates, friends, and family inspired him to pursue a career in chiropractic.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from the University of South Florida before receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University.
Dr. Vassberg competed in indoor and beach volleyball, cross country, and track, and served as a student athletic trainer for football, volleyball, and softball. These experiences gave him firsthand insight into how the body responds to physical demands.
Through high-level volleyball coaching and playing, he further developed his understanding of real-time biomechanics, performance optimization, and injury prevention. Today, he draws on that background to help patients recover safely and move with greater confidence.
Dr. Vassberg believes effective care begins with a partnership between doctor and patient. He uses thorough diagnostic evaluation and current patient management guidelines to develop care plans tailored to each person’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.
His approach combines precise manual adjustments with physiotherapy, targeted exercise rehabilitation, and practical patient education. He focuses on identifying the underlying contributors to physical dysfunction while considering the biological, psychological, and social factors that influence health.
From high-performance athletes to older adults seeking comfortable, confident movement, he welcomes patients of all backgrounds. He believes it is never too late to improve physical well-being.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Vassberg enjoys beach volleyball, gardening, hands-on home projects, and exploring city streets and hidden nature trails with his wife, Catherine, and their Pekingese, Fudgy.
His love of movement, family, and everyday adventure reflects the same commitment to long-term wellness he brings to patient care.
Whether you are recovering from an injury, managing persistent discomfort, or working toward better physical performance, Dr. Vassberg offers precise, compassionate care tailored to your goals.
