Herniated Disc Treatment in Port Charlotte & Englewood

Non-surgical care designed to relieve nerve pressure, reduce inflammation, and restore function without injections or surgery

What is a Herniated Disc?

A herniated disc occurs when the soft inner portion of a spinal disc (nucleus pulposus) pushes through a tear or weakness in the outer layer (annulus fibrosus). When this material presses against nearby nerve roots, it can cause pain, numbness, tingling, or weakness.

Most herniated discs occur in the lower back (lumbar spine) and may contribute to sciatic symptoms when nerve roots are involved.
