Education & Service

Dr. DeFilippis is a long-time resident of Charlotte County, with his family living in the area for over 30 years. After graduating from Port Charlotte High School, he served honorably in the United States Marine Corps.

Following his military service, Dr. DeFilippis pursued his Bachelor of Arts degree before earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic.

His background in disciplined service and clinical education shapes his focused and patient-centered approach to care.

Dr. DeFilippis specializes in difficult neuromusculoskeletal conditions affecting the spine, joints, and nervous system. He brings to his hometown the world-renowned Gonstead Method of Chiropractic, in which he has received extensive training.

He and his family maintain an active lifestyle, reinforcing his belief that movement and community engagement are key components of good health.
